Clayton Reads in Every Season:  Reading Lists

Clayton Reads in Every Season! Continue learning this by reading books of interest that will
help develop reading skills. 

Reading Goal:

Parents and students are encouraged to:

  • Read every day for at least 30 minutes.
  • Read at least 1 book each week including both fiction and nonfiction.
  • Print and complete a Reading Log. [Click Here]
  • Visit a Clayton County Public Library branch to check out books.[Clayton Library Website]

Reading Lists:

• Grades K-2 
• Grades 3-5 
• Grades 6-8 
• Grades 9-12

How to access the free books:

  3. School Name:  Enter - Get Georgia Reading, Georgia Campaign for Grade Level Reading (Begin typing the first few letters and select from the drop-down menu.)

    Password: read
  4. Click on the "Sign In" button, select a book and start reading!

Parents are highly encouraged to be involved in their children's reading by both helping them make appropriate selections they will enjoy and making reading a daily activity in the home.
